This user agreement is for the Certified Equity Professional Institute (CEPI) exam prep course you have logged into (the "Course"), which is offered by the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) and has been prepared by the NCEO and outside authors (collectively the "Authors").
Licensed for a Single User Only
The Course is licensed to you on a per-user basis by the NCEO. You may not share access to the Course with anyone else, including both online access and any printouts you may make.You agree that if you share your login and/or course materials (such as questions in the Prep Course) with others, you and your employer (if any) will be jointly and severally liable for paying for the Prep Course for each person with whom you have shared your login and/or course materials.
Access Expires After the CEPI Exam
Your access to the Course will expire shortly after the next national CEPI exam. If you are taking the test on an alternate test date after your access expires, you must arrange with the NCEO well in advance if you want to use the Course at a later date (for example, a week after the regular exam); we will verify your alternate test date with the CEPI.
Example: You take the Level 1 Prep Course in spring. Your Prep Course access expires after the spring CEPI exam. Whether you pass Level 1 and take the Level 2 Prep Course in the fall or if you fail Level 1 and retake the Level 1 Prep Course in the fall, you must sign up again and pay the appropriate fee for that Prep Course level.
Not an Official CEPI Product
The Course is designed to help students studying for the CEPI exam, but it is not an official product of the CEPI. Although the Authors have attempted to draft questions that are in the same format and that model the depth and scope of the CEP Institute exam, these are not actual CEP Institute questions and may or may not correspond to the depth, scope, and content of the actual CEP Institute exam.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Authors have attempted to provide accurate information, but neither the NCEO nor the Authors make any warranties or representations as to the quality or accuracy of the material. To the extent permitted by applicable law, all implied warranties, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement, are hereby excluded. In no event shall the NCEO nor the Authors be liable for any consequential, incidental, punitive, or other damages, or any claims for damages, arising from the use of the Course. There is no guarantee that you will pass the CEPI exam.
Refund Policy
If you wish to give up access to the Course and receive a refund, you have 10 days from the time you placed your order. Deferrals and re-tests are not eligible for a discount. Individuals already registered are not eligible for a retroactive discount. Deferral requests for the prep course only are at the discretion of the NCEO and must be submitted directly to [email protected].
